At a reflex level, trekking is a physical challenge: a simple desire to pick a path and measure up to the terrain and the elements. The adventure component adds the spice of uncertainty, raising the stakes for you to test yourself in unfamiliar territory.

On a deeper level, trekking is a bridge between ancient lifestyles: the fixed vision of a settler counterbalanced by the transient motion of a nomad. As an evolution from a simple walk into a more self sufficient venture, trekking requires simplification, a reduction to portable basics, and implicit trust in your ability to define what you need to live.

Season :

Because of the vastness of the terrain and altitude difference, trekking trips can be undertaken the whole year round. Treks range from low altitude treks in winter to the crossing of high passes in summer when the snowline recedes, It is also possible to combine all three-river running, trekking and mountaineering. The conventional trekking periods preferred are mid-April to May-June before monsoon and after the rains in the months of September-October-November.

Tour Description -

Day 01- New Delhi - Rishikesh
Arrive at our office in New Delhi and After the necessary check in details, we get introduced to our tour leader. After that we then leave for Rishikesh, at our office in Rishikesh we check in our gear and things to carry. overnight in Rishikesh.

Day 02- Rishikesh - Joshimath
On arrival transfer to midway for freshening up and then leave for Joshimath by car. On the way visit Rudra prayag where Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers meet. On arrival at Joshimath, check in hotel. Dinner & Night Halt.

Day 03- Joshimath - Ghangaria
Early morning we leave from Joshimath for Govindghat, which is the starting point for the trek. From Govindghat there is a gradual ascent along a well - maintained pilgrim trail to the camp at Ghangaria - the base from where day walks can be made into the valley of flowers. Arrange porters and prepare for the trek. After a light breakfast, 14 km trek up to Ghangaria. Dinner & Night halt at Camp. ( All meals at camp).

Day 04- Ghangaria - Valley Of Flowers - Ghangria
After breakfast 4 km trek to Valley Of Flowers (3858 m ) from Ghangaria. The valley is an enchanting sight with an impressive array of rare wildflowers like brahma kamal, fane Kamal with range of small multicolored flowers make it a delight for travelers. The snowclad peaks including Nilgiri Parbat (6474 m) stand in bold relief against the skyline. The valley is 10 kms long, 2 kms wide, and is divided by the Pushpawati stream, into which several tiny streams and waterfalls merge. After enjoying the beauty of valley we come back to Ghangaria. Dinner & Night halt at camp. ( Pack lunch and dinner ).

Day 05- Ghangaria - Hemkundsahib - Ghangaria
After breakfast 6 km trek to Hemkundsahib (4329 m) from Ghangaria. This is quite a steep climb. In the Sikh holy book, the Granth Sahib, the Sikh Guru Gobind Singh recounts that in a previous life, he meditated on the shores of a lake surrounded by seven snowcapped mountains now recognized by Hemkund. We visit Lake & Gurudwara. Again 6 km trek back to Ghangaria. Dinner & Night halt at camp. ( All meals )

Day 06- Ghangaria - Joshimath
After breakfast leave for Govindghat on the trek of 14 kms and reach govindghat be afternoon and drive back to Joshimath after that. check in hotel on arrival and relax. One can also visit Auli in the evening. overnight at hotel. ( breakfast and lunch ).

Day 07- Joshimath - Haridwar
Early morning we leave with packed breakfast from Joshimath for Haridwar. On the way visit Devprayag and Rishikesh. check in hotel on arrival. ( Breakfast and dinner).

Day 08- Rishikesh-Utterkashi-Garam pani drive 5-6 hrs. Overnight river side nature resort.
After breakfast we visit Har ki pauri and then go to Chandi Devi by Cable car After lunch we proceed to Delhi. Tour ends on arrival. (Breakfast)
 

2- TREK TO ROOPKUND
      (9 Days / 8 Nights)

Tour Description -

Day 01- Drive start from Rishikesh to Ghat from Ghat take a local jeep to Setail overnight in Cottage.

Day 02- Trek to Kanol 9 kms. With pack lunch over night in camp.

Day 03- Trek to Wan 11 km. with pack lunch overnight in Camp.

Day 04- Trek to Bedni Bugyal, 12 km. Pack lunch overnight in camp.

Day 05- Trek to Bhugu Basa 8 kms. Pack lunch overnight in camp.

Day 06- Trek to Roopkund 5 kms. and back to Bedni Bugyal 8 kms. On the way Back lunch in Bhugu Basa overnight in camp.

Day 07- Trek to Didna 10 kms. Pack lunch, overnight in Camp.

Day 08- Trek to Lohajung 8 kms. and drive to Tharali overnight in Guest House.

Day 09- Drive back to Rishikesh.

3- LAKE OF GARHWAL (KEDAR TAL)

4- PANCH KEDAR TREKKING

Rishikesh - Kedarnath - Madmaheshwar - Tungnath -Rudranath - Kalpeshwar - JoshimathCradled in the Garhwal Himalaya's ranges are five of Hinduism's most important temples inspired by the five religious forms of Lord Shiva, known as the Panch Kedar.

Kedarnath (3584 m) / Madhmaheshwar (3289 m) / Tungnath (3810 m) / Rudranath (2286 m) / Kalpeshwar (2134 m), sprawled over the vast Kedar Valley with altitudes ranging from 1500m to 3680m.

The Panch Kedar trek includes all the shrines associated with these legends. Kedarnath is situated at the head of the Mandakini River, where the Linga is a natural rock that resembles the hump of a bull. Madhmaheshwar, at the base of the Chaukhamba Peak, is at the altitude of 3500 m. The Linga is here worshipped in the form of a navel. Tungnath, where the arm of Shiva appeared, is the highest temple in Garhwal (3810 m). 500 m above the temple at Tungnath is Chandrashila, with a breathtaking view of the Himalayas. Rudranath is situated where the face of Shiva is said to have appeared. There is a natural rock temple in which the Shiva Mukha is worshipped.

Nearby the temple, there are many little lakes like the Surya Kund, Tara Kund and Manas Kund. Kalpeshwar is situated in the beautiful valley of Urgam. There is a cave temple and Shiva is worshipped in his matted hair form, when He tried to flee from the Pandavas at Kedarnath.

Day 10 - 12 kms trek to Rudranath, overnight in camp. The trek goes through alpine meadows and huge dense forests with a panoramic view over the Nanda Devi, Trishul and Nanda Ghunti peaks.

Day 11 - 18 kms trek to Dumak (village), overnight in camp.

Day 12 - 14 kms trek to Urgam (village) + 2 km trek to Kalpeshwar Mahadev, overnight in camp

Day 13 - 9 kms trek to Helang + drive 13 km to Joshimath, overnight in hotel. And rest!
